What

We Believe

Forgiveness and Eternal Life

We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:23-24). God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. This wonderful salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned but must be received by faith.

Saved from Eternal Punishment

Jesus lived a perfect life and died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to the Father in heaven so that every person could have the opportunity to receive Him as their Savior and be saved from eternal punishment, which Jesus describes as a place where the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:45).

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God offers us a restored relationship with Himself both now and in eternity. We believe that God welcomes those who humbly come to Him in repentance and accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. He that believes in Jesus is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God as stated in John 3:18.

Have Faith and Keep the Faith

The Bible describes “believing in Jesus” as those who take up their cross and follow Him. We are saved by His grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-10) and kept by the power of God through faith (1st Peter 1:5). In other words, as believers in Christ, it is our reasonable service to have faith and to also keep the faith until the end (Matthew 10:22, Romans 12:1-2). Just as Jesus described in The Parable of the Sower that those on the good ground are those who hear the Word and keep it (Luke 8:15).  So, those on the good ground are those who have faith and keep the faith just as the Apostle Paul gave testimony of his own life when the time of his departure was at hand and he said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2nd Timothy 4:7 NKJV).

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

We believe it is of great importance to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all of Israel (Psalm 122:6). The Bible says that the Jewish people are God’s chosen people (Deuteronomy 7:7-8, 14:2) and that salvation was given to the Jew first and then to all people (Romans 1:16). So, we have been invited into their Salvation (John 4:22). God told Abraham that He would bless those who bless them (Genesis 12:1-3). We pray for God’s blessing over Israel, and we pray that all of Israel will see that Jesus Christ is their Messiah whom they have been waiting for all along. He is coming!

Only Jesus Can Save

Every person has two major problems, one is sin and the other is death. There is only one person that could handle those two problems for us, and it is the one whom God sent (John 6:29). Jesus overcame sin at the cross and He overcame death when He rose from the grave. So, the only way to be saved is through Jesus.  There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved, only the name of “Jesus” (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, “I Am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV).

How to Be Saved

We believe that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Once you have repented (Luke 24:47) and received Jesus as your Savior (John 1:12-13) you are born again through the Holy Spirit. You become a new creation in Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:17). Every believer is born of the Spirit (Romans 8:9), and God also wants to fill us with the Holy Spirit as well (Acts 2:4, Acts 8:15-17, Acts 19:5-6). Every believer should follow the instruction of the Lord Jesus to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Deliverance from Oppression

After Jesus rose from the grave and ascended to heaven, the Father sent the Holy Spirit to be our helper and comforter (John 14:26-27). We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is available to everyone who believes in Jesus, and that His work in our life is clearly described as deliverance from the oppression of the devil as stated in Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him”. We believe that God’s power is here to deliver us and to help us walk in the victory that Jesus has already won at the cross when He said, “It is finished!” (John 19:30 NKJV)

Stay Ready! Jesus Is Coming!

The Bible tells us, “…This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven(Acts 1:11 NKJV). Jesus is coming again! Jesus said, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming”. Then He went on to say, “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:42-44 NKJV). We should always be ready for His return by keeping the faith through a passionate daily relationship with Him. In other words, we should always “Stay Ready”.
